Blake Griffin Smacks Justin Bieber At Hollywood Starbucks (UPDATE)

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA– Justin Bieber simply is on a downward spiral.

Police were dispatched to respond to an altercation at a Starbucks in West Hollywood involving two famous faces.

The problem started when a barista at the coffee house was apparently confronted by Bieber when he refused to serve the pop star because he wasn’t wearing a shirt.

“He came in with no shirt on and his pants hanging down and underwear showing and tried to order a caramel apple machiatto.”, said Joey Goldsmith, the Starbucks barista, “I just told him he would have to put a shirt on if he wanted to order.” That’s when Bieber snapped.

According to the police report, Bieber started cussing at the barista and threatening to have his bodyguard, “kick his ass”. Fortunately for Goldsmith, LA Clippers star Blake Griffin had been enjoying a drink at a table when he witnessed the altercation and stepped in.

Witnesses at the scene reported that Griffin tried to calm Bieber but the Biebs wasn’t having any of it. There was more yelling, and some pushing and that’s when Griffin smacked Bieber, knocking him to the floor.

“He smacked the shit out of him” said one witness, “then I saw Justin stumble out of the door looking like he was crying.” Bieber was gone before police arrived at the scene.

Chris Kaman's tweet of the altercation was the complete winner of it all.

Blake Griffin named NBA’s Rookie of the Year

It does not come as a surprise, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin has been named NBA’s Rookie of the Year.

After missing all of last year with a broken kneecap, Blake Griffin, the No. 1 draft pick out of Oklahoma in 2009, easily led all rookies in scoring and rebounding this season. Griffin averaged 22.5 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists while playing in all 82 games and earning a reputation as one of the NBA’s most fearsome dunkers, with his alley-oop slams and one-handed jams making highlight reels nightly.

Blake Griffin also made the West All-Star team, becoming the first rookie All-Star since Yao Ming, and also won the All-Star dunk contest in front of his Staples Center fans with an iconic dunk while flying over a car.

Griffin had 63 double-doubles for the season He is also NBA’s fourth-leading rebounder and the 12th-leading scorer— the only rookie among the league’s top 45 scorers and top 20 rebounders.

Blake Griffin had a very stellar rookie season after missing his supposed first season with a busted kneecap.

Congratulations Blake Griffin for winning the NBA's Rookie of the Year award.
